About Our Name A Carnelian, used and worn for centuries, is a precious mineral that is a powerful aid to those who wish to build confidence, courage, passion and power within themselves.  It can assist in overcoming the fear of taking action or the fear of doing the wrong thing, allowing one to embrace change and transformation in one’s life.  The use of carnelian can restore ambition, bring focus, turn ideas into form and carry out personal directives.

As Chief Empowerment Officer and Founder of Carnelian Coaching, Lynne Brodie is committed to assisting organizations and individuals in exceeding their goals.  As a facilitator of human excellence, she provides a collaborative partnership by supporting people in discovering and maximizing their professional and personal potential.  She has been active and successful in corporate America for the last 28 years holding several positions in executive management, sales, business development, strategic alliances and project management.  Building on her own experience of personal and professional knowledge, education and transition, Lynne founded Carnelian Coaching in 2007.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and received her coach training at CoachInc and CoachU, one of the foremost founding coaching schools in the profession and dedicated to the development of masterful coaches.

Lynne is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), which provides the professions credentialing, ethics and guidelines. She is also a member of Women in Technology (WIT). As a member of WIT, Lynne is on the Women’s Business Owners and Workforce Development Committees.
